Short bio — Ricardo Dickinson is the anonymous voice behind Dossijeo, a musical project born from pain, protest, and emotional resistance. Originally from Barcelona, he transforms personal experiences into art blending melodic rap, dark balladry, and social poetry.
Fascinated since childhood by electronics and computing, Ricardo discovered new creative tools with the advent of artificial intelligence. The institutional abuse suffered by his daughter sparked his purpose: songs like “La verdad crucificada” and “Nido de sombras” expose silenced injustices and seek collective empathy. His next release, “Nido de sombras – Human Cut,” accompanied by a music video shot in Tbilisi, reinforces his mission to give voice to the unheard.
Born from a deeply painful experience, the Dossijeo project found its true purpose. When his youngest daughter became the victim of continuous and systematic school abuse, Ricardo Dickinson and his family faced not only the direct pain of the abuse but also the indifference and complicity of educational institutions. The lack of effective responses and the repeated denial of what was obvious by the school and administrative bodies marked a turning point.
In the face of such an oppressive injustice, Ricardo decided to transform his anger and helplessness into music. Thus were born songs like “La verdad crucificada” and “Nido de sombras,” works charged with emotion that poetically and powerfully tell a silenced story. Each song is conceived not only as a space for emotional resonance but also as a tool to open dialogue, generate empathy, and expose abusive practices that persist under power structures that shield them.
His musical language fuses melodic rap, dark balladry, and lyrical metaphor with a clear intention: to confront silence and create shared emotional memory. The upcoming release, “Nido de sombras – Human Cut,” takes this commitment a step further. Accompanied by a music video shot in Tbilisi (Georgia) with contemporary dance, this version seeks to connect with broader audiences and convey, through its aesthetics, the emotional depth of the story that inspired it.
Ricardo does not seek personal recognition. Under the artistic anonymity of Dossijeo, his purpose is to amplify silenced voices, promote more empathetic social awareness, and contribute to collective transformation. Dossijeo is not just a musical project: it is an intimate act of resistance, an artistic channel for protest, and an open manifesto against institutional complicity.
